Campmor was founded in Bogota, New Jersey in 1978 and quickly became a trusted destination for outdoor enthusiasts throughout the Northeast. What started as a local outdoor retailer grew through word of mouth, knowledgeable staff, and a genuine love for adventure.
Today, Campmor serves outdoor communities across the country through our website and our retail store in Paramus, New Jersey. While the outdoor industry has evolved over the years, our mission has remained the same:
