Overview

We’re looking for a reliable, motivated, and friendly Retail Sales Associate to join the Campmor family. This role involves operating the cash register, assisting customers, restocking shelves, and supporting day-to-day store operations.

You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team that works together to keep the store running smoothly and deliver exceptional customer service. We’re looking for someone interested in growing with Campmor long-term.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with product selection
• Restock shelves and maintain organized product displays
• Keep the store clean, tidy, and presentable
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Track inventory and report low-stock or missing items
• Support promotional sales efforts and upsell when appropriate
• Follow store policies, safety, and security procedures
• Work as part of a team to meet daily operational goals
• Assist with picking online orders for the shipping department when needed

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills (phone, email, messaging)
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and take initiative
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and responsible approach to daily tasks

Requirements

• Basic math and communication skills
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
• Friendly, positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift light to moderate items (up to 35 lbs)
• Must be available to work Saturdays
