They a...view morere non-restrictive around my 17" lower calves, and moderately thin enough to dry quickly after blasting through a creek. I only wish that Wigwam made a quarter high version, and that the nylon content was higher, as I only get about 75-100 miles out of a pair. Still, I'm very happy with these socks, and hope that they areno?=o?=o?=t discontinued, like so many other favorite items on my gear list that have been discontinued over the years. view less
