Comments about Wigwam Merino Lite Hiker Wool Socks: Wigwam made these socks about ten years ago, when I first bought them after comparing them with many other styles and brands. They last about five years (6 months of constant wear), and I purchased a new set in 2005. They were not available in 2010 when I wanted to buy another set and the alternative sox I have purchased were not as comfortable for hiking and general everyday wear. I most welcome their return.

Comments about Wigwam Merino Lite Hiker Wool Socks: I hope they never stop making these socks - they are the best. Pros

Comments about Wigwam Merino Lite Hiker Wool Socks: From the photo, I thought this sock would replace a similar Wigwam wool sock for hiking. However, it's too thin and weasles down to bunch up in the toe of the boot. It also has the now-common interior loop weave instead of a classic wool feel. So while it's well-constructed and fine for wearing in street shoes, don't make the mistake of thinking this is a light sock for hiking.
