great pants, but save yourself the return postage and size these bigger that you think. they fit as advertised, however, practically speaking your child will pull these on over existing clothes when it starts to rain and that is not compensated for in the sizing chart.

Bought 1 size smaller per review recommendations but the pants I received match the youth size lengths as stated in the sizing chart. Have to return them now to get the right size.

Product is fine. But the description on your website stated that the inseam was 26 in. The pants in fact have an inseam of 36 in -- way too long and not as advertised.

Comments about White Sierra Youth Trabagon Waterproof Breathable Rain Pants:

I bought the pants for my 4'-11", 77-lb daughter. Based on other reviews, I ordered a size smaller than the guide (she sizes as a Large). The pants were still quite large on her in the waist, hips and rise. The length was okay. I took in the waist on both sides and she was able to wear the pants over knit pants for skiing. She reported that she stayed warm in the windy night conditions.

These work great and the material, though not the highest quality, doesn't rip or split like pairs we've purchased in the past. We have three ACTIVE boys who participate in an outdoors program one full day a week and this brand lasts for the year. Would be great if they came in different colors (sage, camouflage, brown).

Are the bottoms of the pant legs large enough to go over boots? I see that there is a snap at the ankle, but is this snap used to close an opening in the pants or just make them smaller?

The pants leg adjust with a snap that allow a gusset or extra fold of material to be opened or closed.

There's no drawstring waist. The waistband is covered elastic. I found it a little large and took a few tucks in it. It was easy to do. There are snaps at the ankle, so you can put them on over shoes and then cinch them up. That also means you can cuff them at the ankle with the snaps if they're a little too long.

The pants do not have a drawstring waist but the M size fits small enough to stay on my slim size 12 son. The bottoms do not have velcro for rolling but they do have snaps to accomodate boots or shoes. In addition, the seams are sealed for water, which is nice. There is also one size zip pocket on the leg and one wallet pocket on the rear.
