Michelle lives in Northern New Jersey and just witnesses one of the most horrific storms of her life. She saw most of her childhood memories wash away with the Jersey Shore being demolished. Michelle was very lucky to have no damage to her house, with some trees down on her block and only losing power for twelve hours. She wanted to make sure she was ready for the next one.
In order to do so, she knew she needed to stock up on a few things, so she went to Campmor to pick up some essentials.
For the house she bought the Essential Gear 30 Day Lantern which brightens up a room and lasts up to 32 hours on high/ 3.5 days on med/ 30 days on low. You never know when the power companies are going to get to your block. She also bought the Eveready LED Flashlight Combo Pack for just walking around the house and garage. Michelle also bought the Reliance 5 Gallon Fold-A-Carrier because last time she had to boil her water a couple of days after the storm – this way she has some fresh clean water stored to drink.
Just in case Michelle has to go out in the storm for an emergency, or to clean out the street gutters, she bought the Columbia Sportswear Arcadia Rain Jacket, Campmor Camp-Tech Storm Venture Rain Pants, and Servus by Honeywell Northerner Series Max Waterproof Boots (which are 100% waterproof).
She's hoping to volunteer her time for some clean up too – so she will need to be prepared for the wet areas.
