Comments about Timex New Ironman Rubber Band: I had to use the pins from the previous watchband because what came with this one was too short for my watch. In addition, I had to shave some of the rubber away from where the pins meet the watch because it was interfering with watchband motion causing the pins to pop out and the watch to fall off my wrist. The end of the watchband where it meets the watch also needed to be trimmed away to allow free movement of the watch and watchband and minimize the potential for popping off my wrist.

Is this watch band a replacement for the Timex Helix watch? I bought this watch from Compmor several years ago and I can't use it because my band has broken. I bought a Timex Digital Expedition Compass watch from Campmor a couple of years ago. The rubber band comes off by unscrewing two small screws accessed from the outside of the band rather than the conventional method (a spring loaded pin held by a loop on the end of the band which pops into place between the indentations on the "bracket" extending from the watch). I need a new band. Will this one work?
