doing volunteer gardening/landscaping (in the wet. in the mud), a wrist watch doesn't work. This model is a bit larger than necessary. My last Timex clip-on died after years of service. Thank you.

The clip on watch is what I need to keep my tour groups on schedule by easily glancing at it and not checking my wrist watch every 5 minutes!

I wanted a good clip/caribiner style watch - as I'm fairly active and often damage watches worn on my wrist.

This one is a pretty good deal for the money.

The clip is secure and the watch has an overall rugged build. It also has some extra features which can be handy, such as an alarm function (although it probably won't wake a sound sleeper -as it is not especially loud and has a relatively short duration).

It is, overall, a little bigger than I expected, but not uncomfortably so.
There is, supposedly, an analogue version (which I would have prefered) that is constantly unavailable; also a green version (which I also would have prefered) that is also constantly unavailble. I had to order the all black digital version.
That aside, the one major drawback is that the indiglo light is located on one of the buttons used to set the watch - and is sometimes difficult to locate and operate (as it is small and can difficult to find at night).
I think it would have been preferable to use a seperate (larger) button for this and extend the light duration a bit (it stays on only as long as you push it, and if you push it too long it will begin the setting process).

All in all, it's been keeping good time and I would say it's a dependable watch and worth the price.

Attached to my canoe pack helps keep track of date and time. Sized right, lightweight. Doesn't look out of place. Swivelling body is a nice touch. The only reasonably priced ruggedized clip-watch I could find.
