Perfect for the Florida sun great for the boat, great for the trail, great for the back yard, great for working outside, great for relaxing at the beach. Not likely you'd catch me out without it, the sun protection with this is awesome, the brim is perfectly sized. 2+ weeks at BSA national jamboree in 2010, over 300 miles on trails in the florida outback, full days on the gulf waters on the boat, wash it and it looks good as new. Bought a second Tiley LTM6 recently after our dog chewed a small hole in the crown, stitched a scout patch in the front and it's back on the job too, and my wife is now hooked too, with her own.

Comments about Tilley LTM6 AirFlo Hat: Although the fit is true to sizing, the volume of the crown is rather low. IOW, although they say to buy it so it fits loose, there is not enough space in the hat to fit my head into. I had to squeeze down onto my head. Buying the next size up didn't help much--it's simply that the crown is too short and volume too low. Maybe my head is too fat... This hat will fit people with smaller heads very nicely.

Comments about Tilley LTM6 AirFlo Hat: It's too cold right now to try it out much, but the vent does let air blow through and it looks pretty nice. It says that sweat will discolor the fabric and they recommend washing it often. Since it's crushable, I assume it'll keep its shape ok with lots of washings. Seems like a nice 3 season hat.
