Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Trail Regular Self Inflating Sleeping Pad: Got this to replace an older self-inflating pad that developed a bubble in it. This has a nice coating on it that helps the sleeping bag from sliding and fits perfectly in the chair.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Trail Regular Self Inflating Sleeping Pad: This mat was ok, it was the cheapest one and it worked but if we had spent a little more, probably would have gotten a better mat. However, for the money, it did provide protection from the ground and it worked for us. We are used to air mattresses and this is not that comfortable, but isn't supposed to be.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Trail Regular Self Inflating Sleeping Pad: slept like a log
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Trail Regular Self Inflating Sleeping Pad: I bought this thinking it was going to be the usual Thermarest quality product I am used to. Instead, it is the worst product I have ever purchased from Campmor. The matress is a slick, plastic raincoat type material, it does not inflate to a firm shape, more of a sliver of air, and the regular is so long, it won't possibly pack down very well. Hate it! I am returning it ASAP.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Trail Regular Self Inflating Sleeping Pad: A good product overall, just don't count on it being thick enough to provide much comfort. I doubled mine with the thermarest foam pad on top and it worked beautifully.

Comments about Therm-A-Rest Thermarest Trail Regular Self Inflating Sleeping Pad: I bought this for our 10 year old son. It's a good first Thermarest and plenty comfortable. However, the outer layer seems neither as thick nor as durable as the other three Thermarests we have. All the same, it's adequate for family trips and will hopefully last until he's old enough to buy his own.

Q:

A:
The sleeping pad has "open-cell foam on the inside.Q:
Is this pad winter worthy?1 answer
A:
I would add a close cell pad to this. Put a close cell pad down and then this pad over the top. You can sandwish you cloths in between the pads to keep them from freezing.Q:
which repair kit do you use for this pad?1 answer
A:
The proper repair kit is Thermarest Repair KitQ:
How quickly does it deflate and what price for the cover?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The way you deflate this is by opening the valve. To quicken the deflation process begin lay down on the pad and this will squeeze the air out quicker. Then start at the end of the pad without the valve and begin rolling the pad. You may want to knell on the rolled pad a couple of times while rolling to make sure the most air is squeezed out. Once you reach the end close the valve. The stuff sac for this pad is item # 48821Q:

CUSTOMER CARE

The lite version is half an inch thicker for the same approximate weightQ:
