Silk was supposed to breath, so I hoped these tops would be what I wanted. And they were! They are very lightweight, which is fine with me. The only problem is the thin shoulder straps tended to fall down my arms. I solved this by sewing a 7" piece of thick thread to attach the back straps about 3 1/2 inches up from the body. Problem solved and they are now perfect.

The straps are a little long however, might shorten them. The fabric is very sheer, would not wear without a cover up. I live in So Calif, so don't need much warmth, doubt that this would add much warmth in a colder climate.

It is lightweight and perfect for layering under a sweater, especially if you go from outside to indoors often. It prevents feeling too hot when bulked up in wintergear and then go back into the office. The xl fits great, very roomy. It seems so delicate, but actually provides noticable insulation from the cold. Great product!

These were perfect. I bought a black one and a cream one. The edging is flat enough that it does not show under thin tops. It is long enough to tuck into pants. The neck line is low enough that it does not show under low cut tops. These are very thin and you would not wear them alone. I ordered size medium but the black one was slightly smaller than the cream one. I am happy with the fit of both of them, though. I wish they had a tan/nude.

I wanted a product that wasn't as heavy as standard silk long-johns but would proved more substantial warmth than a sheer fabric provides. I've worn them, they're comfortable, and they're not warm enough to wear under yard work clothes. I think they're designed for under office clothes.
