Comments about Terramar Men's ThermaSilk EC2 Lightweight Silk Pants: Bought uppers and lowers for three season use in my sleeping bags. Keeps the bag clean, also lowers the bags temperature rating. Very light for backpacking. This silk material "picks" easily, so watch the brush if you venture outside your tent during the night for any reason. Very comfortable for sleeping. I use Patagonia Celadon for the fourth season. Same reasons as above, but a lot tougher and warmer material.

Comments about Terramar Men's ThermaSilk EC2 Lightweight Silk Pants: I use them for indoor use under my slacks. They are not warm enough for low outdoor temps when used alone under regular pants. They are similar to women's hose, elastic and close fitting. Comfortable, and give me just the right amount of additional warmth and insulation for really cold days when it is somewhat uncomfortable, even indoors with the heater on, but not too warm that I have to remove them. They might be suitable for an additional layer of warmth when used with other thermal gear such as snow pants. These are my third pair; I wore out the previous two. I've using them for several years now, and they are a valuable addition to my wardrobe.
