Comments about Sorel Men's Conquest Boots: I've worn these boots severals times while going on snow trips and my feets have always been warm with just a pair of socks. With a good set of snowpants, these are waterproof. I've also gone snowshoeing in these and they fit well in teh snowshoe buckles and and kept my feet comfortable, warm and dry. Expensive but worth the money. The construction is solid and I expect to use these for a long time.

Comments about Sorel Men's Conquest Boots: Incredible boot! Couldn't be happier. This isn't your trekking kind of boot. Don't expect it to be. This is the boot you want on your foot when the snow is up to your waist. I have a pair of Merrell's for hiking boots that work great. But when it came to plowing around through the snow, they let in a little too much for comfort.

Comments about Sorel Men's Conquest Boots: I got my Sorel Conquests about 6 years ago while working as a skilift mechanic. As you can probably imagine, the job involved spending a lot of time outside in the cold. I spent anywhere from 12 to 18 hours per day out and about on the mountain - walking, snowmobiling, and often snowshoeing during my morning checks of lift lines. These boots were simply awesome - warm, very comfortable after they were broken in, and I couldn't believe how light they were.

Best Uses Comments about Sorel Men's Conquest Boots: Within only a few months of serious winter wear up here in Mammoth Lakes... these things... can't even really call them boots... started to come apart at the seams as well as the rubber rind around the inside of the boot started to crack and come apart as well. Super disappointed in Sorel. Not the same company i remembered them being 10 year ago. [*]. Bummer.

Best Uses Comments about Sorel Men's Conquest Boots: I have a D width foot. These were medium width (only width available). I ordered a half size large which usaully compensates. My foot was numb after walking around for five minutes. Sent them back.

Comments about Sorel Men's Conquest Boots: Bought these about a year ago from Campmor. Loved the boots for many reasons. They started coming apart at the seams. Have a request into Sorrel to have them replaced but so far no response. Sorrel website has similar complaints in their review. Great boot for about a year. Pros

Comments about Sorel Men's Conquest Boots: I am a year-round hiker, and homeowner in the NE US. I seek winter boots that are durable and able to perform. Photo alone is insufficient for purchase. Looks absolutely great. However, upon first wear I found these boots too bulky and otherwise loose-fitting. Achilles strap notion far outweighs practical use as its on the unfamiliar, uncomfortable side of leg and difficult to tighten. Built-in gater, as well, is an outstanding idea, yet, in terms of utilization, too short and overmatched by least expensive actual gaiter. Good for simple homeowner seasonal use, however, there are far better boots for specialized use. Sorry Sorel.
