Comments about Sorel Caribou II Winter Boots - Men's: This is my second pair of these boots. My last pair lasted 19 hard years. I expect these will last just as long. I use them for snowmobiling, ice fishing, short hikes. I've only had them down to -20 so I can't say how they do at their rated -40F, but they were still warm. Excellent boot. They are super comfortable

I have always used these boots in the Sierra Nevadas, and they do just as well in Maine. Warm and great traction. I no longer fear he will slip and fall on the ice. He says his feet stay warm! ( he is always cold here in ME)
