Comments about Sno-Seal Original Beeswax Waterproofing Jar:

I use it on my boots and other smaller leather items.
          Protects very nicely
          Excellent water resistance
Really need to work into the leather and clean up excess, otherwise it is a bit sticky/messy. If you don't the stickiness still clears up in a matter of days.

Comments about Sno-Seal Original Beeswax Waterproofing Jar:

I have used Sno-Seal on hiking boots for about 25+ years. I like it much better than Neatsfoot or Mink oil. This time I used it on my leather Outback style hat and it maintained its shape while only darkeing slightly at first, then after about a week it lightened back to the original rustic medium brown. Now my hat is very sweat and water proof.

I put my shoes in the oven at A low temp until the leather is warmer up. Other people have used a hair drier. Basically you want to heat the leather to warm and apply.
