Comments about Smartwool Heathered Rib Merino Wool Socks: These are the most comfortable socks I own. But they wear quickly even when line drying and machine washing inside out. They last about a year, at that point the heal and toe wool have worn away and a cotton? grid is left that I can see through. Nevertheless, I still keep buying these socks because they are so comfortable for all seasons in East TN.
