      A:

A liner can provide additional warmth of 10 degrees. Just make sure the liner you choose will not compress the insulation in this bag. A liner that is too bulky will work against increasing the warmth of a sleeping bag.

  • Q:

Will compressing the sleeping bag affect its insulation? And will it lose its loft over time?
    Asked on 5/22/2011 by Anonymous

    1 answer

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

The general rule you do not want to store your sleeping compressed. If a sleeping bag is stored compressed it will loose it's loft. In the field compression will not effect the loft because it is not staying compressed, it is being used each night. Store your bag in a laundry bag

  • Q:

Is there a zipper that allows for ventilation in the feet or is it only the one zipper that runs along the whole sleeping bag?
    Asked on 4/21/2011 by Anonymous

    1 answer

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

This sleeping bag has a double zipper, however there is no foot venting zipper. You could fully zip the bag up and then open the bottom zipper for ventilation near the foot box, but there is no zipper across the foot box.
