Comments about Slumberjack Bonnie & Clyde 30/40 Degree Double Sleeping Bag:

Went on a 10,000 mi trip across the lower 48 this summer. Hit 30F temps in high elevations and 80F in the humid south. Was comfy everywhere I took it. Separates in 2 for easy laundering. Easy zipping and squishy comfy. We packed it into a rubbermaid bin with an extra blanket or could pack with sleep pad, used bin as night stand. All car camping. Super big but haven't separated for back country packing yet. Love the space. Hubby is a large 6'2" and had ample foot room with top up to his chin. Wide enough to spread out on hot muggy nights. Had a rain fly malfunction and got a bit wet inside the bag but a towel overnight took care of the moisture. Dries well as it polyester not down. Pillows provided are cute and comfy: used in the car for naps and on beach trips but the bag is wide enough to fit standard pillows.

Comments about Slumberjack Bonnie & Clyde 30/40 Degree Double Sleeping Bag:

My wife wanted me to return it because she thought the flannel was too light and not substantial enough. It was so hard to re-pack in the original box, that we kept it. It will be used this fall - It was a present to my wife to replace a set of 30/40 bags where a friend burned a hole in the lighter bag. I'm sure she will come to enjoy the bag. I enjoyed the big duffle bag and the pillows - good value added. We have many bags, this fills a need for someone who prefers the old conventional rectangular flannel-lined bags.

Comments about Slumberjack Bonnie & Clyde 30/40 Degree Double Sleeping Bag:

Super comfy, holds heat nicely and is very roomy. My husband is 6'2" and very broad and this sleeps us both very comfortably, we're used to king sized comfort. There was even enough room for our 7 and 3 year old, if we had to. The unzipped Bonnie and Clyde are nice for if we have to sleep separately. The pillows that came with it are small but soft and convenient for car trips. It does pack quite large but we are considering using our vacuum bags to compact it. As with any sleeping bag, an inflatable mattress or a descent sleeping pad are the only way to camp comfortably.

Comments about Slumberjack Bonnie & Clyde 30/40 Degree Double Sleeping Bag:

We have used this bag twice in mid-state Wisconson. Once in July and again in August.
We have a Coleman queen sized air matress under it inside a Eureka! 6 person tent.

The bag is thin and light so we never felt stifled.
Thr temps last weekend dipped to ~50F and windy. It was great to crawl into the bag and be warm.

The zippers snag too often when zipping up but they have no issues unzipping.

We found that when packing them up we needed to tie them with some clothsline to keep them from expanding as we stuffed them into the included duffle.
It would have been nice if they came with some way to do this.

We purchased a Bonnie and Clyde sleeping bag and like it very much as a double bag for my wife and I. When we wanted to make the sleeping bag into two separate sleeping bags. We were not able to get the double bag unzipped. Is there something we have overlooked? Thank you for your guideness.

The zippers should just come undone from wach other. Perhaps you should call our store at 21-445-5000 and speak to our sleeping bag experts. They should be able to trouble shoot that issue for you .
