Comments about Slumberjack Bonnie & Clyde 30/40 Degree Double Sleeping Bag: on the living room floor, this is a cozy setup. but it's not going to survive 30/40 degree weather, it's just way too thin compared to my other sleeping bags which are true 30' and 40' bags that compress well and have great cotton liners. i live in the pacific nw, and even in the heat of summer, coastal camping can get cool/damp and temperatures vary from 36-60 at night and my other bags just keep me cosy when its cold. in hind sight, i would have paid a bit more for a higher quality brand.

Comments about Slumberjack Bonnie & Clyde 30/40 Degree Double Sleeping Bag: Paired this sleeping bag with fleece sleeping bags we zipped together to make double & placed it inside the Bonnie/Clyde bag.It was 36 degrees when we got up with frost on inside & outside of our tent.Hubby said only his feet got cold.I was comfortable all night but wore heavy slipper socks.Later when frost thawed it dripped onto the sleeping bag & puddled there allowing me to blot it up rather than it soaking in.We left the fleece bags inside the Bonnie & Clyde & still managed to get it all in its storage bag.It takes two people to get it back in the bag either way.

I absolutely love that the bag is big enough to hold both sleeping bags. I don't ever plan on separating them, so it is perfect for me: no hassle with unzipping and stuffing in 2 bags. The sleeping bags are really light...I wouldn't mind even thicker bags to avoid having to use a sleeping pad. I actually used this bag w/o a pad, and it was tolerable for me, but not for hubby.

We use large thermarest self inflating pads and sleep comfortably every night. We got these because my wife wanted a flannel interior and I must confess it is very nice. Very bulky but cosy camping in the mountains and for 3 season use.

I don't know how it rates in cold weather because I used it in the summer, in the desert so it only got to about 50 degrees at night. But I'm super happy with the bag. We got warm in it so I think it will hold up well in slightly colder weather. The flannel lining is so cozy. I love this bag and can't wait to go camping again!
