I put this in my boots as soon as I get back to the condo so they dry overnight. This is not a quick fix. I like the small size and light weight compared to other forced air boot dryers I have used in the past. It's great for ski trips with air travel.

Product works great, but the CORDS BETWEEN BOOTS IS MUCH TOO SHORT.
I fried a pair after about ten years, so I needed another. They get so warm the outer plastic deforms, but they work great.
I put on a timer so each morning my boots are toasty so they are used everyday!

I use them every night to warm and dry my boots. Though I do have to rotate boots every other day if they are very wet inside. A small fan in each insert would improve drying ability. If I put them in dry boots for an hour or so before I put them on they are always toasty warm.

Bought two sets for three pair of boots. Kid's rental boots got pretty wet during skiing, but these dried them out fine overnight. Put them in my personal ski boots early in the morning and they were toasty and dry by the time the lifts opened (1 hr)

Works as advertised. Warnings about using in gloves, but I've been successful with wet cycling gloves and lacrosse gloves by putting the warmers inside toilet paper rolls with some holes punched in them, to keep the warmers from touching the glove liner and providing some air space around the warmer. The warmers heat up to what seems like a perfect temperature, not to hot to singe anything.

Have had these for quite a few years. Use them all winter. Am buying them for my kids so they don't borrow mine all the time (and don't have wretchedly stinky boots/feet from perpetually wet footwear).

Warped and smelled like it was burning on first use. I won't leave it "unsupervised" due to fear of fire. Has one inch caps on each end; these don't get warm. Since I wanted the toes of my boots warmed, this isn't helpful. You do end up with the middle of the boot warm. Bottom line, wished I'd spent more for a better quality warmer.

I tried these out at home for about a week, using them per the instructions that came with them -- they seemed to do a very good job of drying my walking/running shoes. They're also MUCH lighter than another set of dryers I have. So, I took them on a trip and, after using them for a few days, I noticed they had started to melt and had changed shape (somewhat like a candle left in a hot car). I will be returning them once I get back home. However, I think they are very convenient and really do a good job; so, I will probably request a replacement and hope they don't melt.

Used these for skiing and it was great to have dry boots every morning. Also helps to start out with slightly warm interior but the best feature is that they are very effective in drying the boots. The only reason I did not rate higher is the tubes warped slightly which made me a little nervous. No problem with the boots or the way the product worked. I found it was best if I plugged them in after skiing then turned them off when I went to bed and on again when I woke up. Excellent. Can't say enough how great it is to start off with dry boots each day. Recommend you get a set for each pair of boots in your party. I used these recently for six days skiing in Colorado !!!
