    Comments about Primus ClassicTrail Stove:

My husband and I are beginner backpackers and didn't want to spend a lot of money on supplies until we have more experience in this hobby/lifestyle. This stove is not only light weight and easy to pack, but it also works really well. It's super easy to set up and to light. Our food cooked very quick and didn't take much fuel to do so. I'm extremely pleased with this product; cooking on it was a little unstable but nothing to really complain about. There may be better stoves out there, but for the price I am very satisfied.

This took up NO ROOM in my pack and was super lightweight!! It boiled 2 cups of water in 3 minutes and put off a lot of heat. On my 3 day hike it poured all day one of the days and this stove still lit and ran with no problems at all. It is as good if not better than advertised.

      Comments about Primus ClassicTrail Stove:

Great stove that boils water quicker then i expected! The stove is a little bulky compared to other stoves my buddies use. The directions say to use their brand gas, but i use jetboil gas due to it being the cheapest at my local outdoors store! all in all great purchase!

      Comments about Primus ClassicTrail Stove:

I was impressed how fast it boils water. I plan to use for backpacking trips. The instructions stated to only use Primus Gas with the mixture of butane and propane. I never found the product brand and ended up buying a different brand with the correct mixture of gas.

This is a great light weight hiking stove. I used it at altitudes of 9K to 12K and at temps of 30 degrees to 75 degrees. It's compact, lights easy, stays lit, heats fast - what else do you need? You will need a wind screen if you are in high winds. Good purchase.

Yes. I believe these stoves use US standard valves like the CV 470 and you it is safe to remove the canister when still partially full.
