Cons Best Uses Comments about Marmot Guides Down Sweater Jacket - Women's: this is a beautiful color, but not what I think of as a "down sweater." The fit is fairly boxy and wide, and the jacket much puffier than I wanted. It's also pretty heavy (which I should have realized from the specs). Despite the very pretty color, I am returning it.

Comments about Marmot Guides Down Sweater Jacket - Women's: I absolutely love this jaket. I bought it to go hiking in the winter with my boyfriend and was worried about down jackets being bulky and hot. This was perfect. I stayed warm but not over heated and it is very light.

Comments about Marmot Guides Down Sweater Jacket - Women's: the overall quality is very recommendable. the pockets are fleece lined. the zipper very functional. the down puffiness is commensurate w/ the description. the fabric is very acceptable along w/ the overall styling. No feather poking thru yet. more solid jackets (e.g. Fitz Roy by patagonia) would cost x2.5 the price of this well-rounded jacket. I wish it had a hood but that's another story. the size appears a little smallish. Nice for more or less non-windy cold autumn walks in a park or on a trail.

I love and trust Marmot products and this jacket delivers. So comfy, I call it my "sleeping bag" jacket. Very warm as soon as you put it on. Looks great. Definitely recommend this and other things by Marmot.
