Comments about Marmot Tranquility Softshell Jacket - Women's: I echo everyone else's comments about how amazing this jacket is! It is super-versatile, which makes it a great travel companion. Though sporty, it's form-fitting, which I think is way more attractive that your typical boxy or puffy winter jacket. I'm 5'7" and 140 lbs and the small fits perfectly. The interior of the coat is surprisingly soft with a thin fuzz layer. One thing I did, which others might find useful, is that I ordered a form-fitting black fleece to go under it. With the two layers, I am perfectly warm in winter weather. However, I suspect in the spring, I'll ditch the fleece and just wear this shell.

A wool scarf is a good supplement. I like the length and fit, and it has a soft inside which is pleasant in the pockets and up around my chin.

Comments about Marmot Tranquility Softshell Jacket - Women's: This jacket ran small. I usually wear a medium and had to go to a large. Even though it is a large, it doesn't feel or look big on top and is perfect fit around the hips. The material outside is buttery smooth and so, so soft on inside.

The longer length kept my butt warm and dry and the hood was a godsend between shots. It allowed me to swing unrestricted! Also wore it with casual clothes and received many compliments.

Comments about Marmot Tranquility Softshell Jacket - Women's: I use this jacket in friggid weather with a sweater underneath and spring and fall type alone. It is the most versatile, comfortable jacket I've ever owned. I love the reverse zipper at the bottom for a longer stride or when sitting and the tall collar that snaps to keep out wind, so I don't need a scarf. It's a flattering shape, yet roomy enough in the shoulders for hiking. Campmor had the losest price and fast excellent service.
