- H2No® waterproof breathable barrier provides maximum protection in wet conditions; it blocks wind and water yet allows perspiration to escape.
- Pull-on, elasticized self-fabric waistband with internal drawcord.
- Two zippered handwarmer pockets, zippered back pocket, all with Deluge® DWR-treated zippers and storm flaps.

Comments about Patagonia Torrentshell Rain Pants - Women's: I am 5'5" tall and 135#. The medium fit well over jeans. I plan on using them for travel and when I have to do maintenance outside in rainy or cool, damp conditions. I have not had a chance to wear them under these conditions, so cannot speak for their waterproof capabilities.

The entire family is wearing these pants for activities such as x-c skiiing, snowshoeing, wet hikes, or really windy hikes. Love the fit, love the pockets. Be aware that the leg opening at the bottom is narrow so the pants might not fit over large boots.
