I have had this pair of Birks for about eight months. The cork in the front and back was starting to crumble and peal away from the sole of the sandal. I used an adhesive to reconnect the cork to the sole and allowed it to dry. Then I painted the cork with the "cork life 2". The stuff works great. It goes on white and dries clear. It took me about five minutes to apply. I was impressed with how effective it was. The cork on my sandals was looking pretty bad and this stuff made them look new. The application brush is in the cap which is a little annoying because it drips and the brush is covered with way too much product when you first open it.

My Birkenstocks are over 8 years old now and still look great. Cork Life really helps keep the cork footbed looking like new.
