Comments about Outdoor Products Travel Duffel Rolling Luggage 30 inches: We wanted a good size duffle on wheels to hold supplies for weekend boating trips: sheets, blanket, 2 bed pillows, clothes for 2 people. We also wanted it to be collapsible so that when emptied it wouldn't take up a lot of room in the berth of our boat. It is sturdy, great material, and good quality. Perfect for our needs.

It rolls easily. I expect many years of use from it. I usually drive so it won't be exposed to the airline gorillas very often.

I am a little concerned about the stiffness of the bottom of the bag. One purchaser review says - "... it is so soft heavy items make it bend over and hard to handle. A little stiffening in the material would make this perfect." However, one of your answers to a question says - "The plastic base of the Outdoor Product Travel Duffel Rolling Luggage is 30 inches long by 14.5 inches wide.” It sounds as though there is stiffening material that covers the entire bottom of the bag, which would be desirable. The bottom base is a semi-rigid plastic. If heavy items are placed inside the bag it could cause the bottom to bend outward. For additional reinforcement, an additional sheet of hard plastic cut to fit would help prevent the bottom from sagging.Answered on 2/29/2012 by Bob from Campmor
