Comments about JanSport Boost Daypack: I wanted a decent backpack for lugging books around between campuses as an adjunct faculty member. This bag is HUGE -- much bigger than I thought it would be. It has my prerequisites: two bottle/coffee holders, three main compartments (1. glasses, pens, sundries; 2. electronica, portable hard drives, small notebook; 3. student files/homework, paperwork) with a notebook sleeve (iPad); plus a quick-access phone pocket on the top; and a nifty pocket along the bottom that I have found extremely useful.

Comments about JanSport Boost Daypack: I purchased this backpack for college books/laptop. It seems to be well made, it's only been 2 weeks, but the straps are holding up with the book load I carry. My first impression was it rode to high on my shoulders and the weight tends to ride on my cervical area..i am 5'4" female and the bag is made for a much larger torso...2nd impression, if you don't carry a laptop in the closest compartment to your back, and leave it empty, the whole bag bows away from my body awkwardly.. Soo.. I switched my books to that area while not carrying my laptop. All in all, I'm pleased and getting used to it.

Comments about JanSport Boost Daypack: This is the second Boost pack we have purchased. My son needs an extra large pack for his school gear. He is tall (6'3") and fit, so he can easily handle it fully loaded, however a short person might find the pack too large. It is sturdy, comfortable and has plenty of easily accessible pockets. It is well styled without being flashy or overdone. Ideal for our purposes.

I am going to repeat Sue from San Francisco's question: What torso length does this pack fit? Shawn did not really answer her question. My mind is still doing cartwheels trying to understand where he was coming from. Why not answer the question? (I have been asking about this and why Campmor does not provide this info and have so far been ignored.
