Comments about Campmor Youth Cascade II Pants: For my 5 year old bicycling on rainy days these pants are ideal.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Campmor Youth Cascade II Pants: I bike commute my 2nd grader home from school about a mile or so. Needed rain pants for light-medium rainy days (I'll take the car if it's really pouring/whatever). They fit the bill. He's slim/short for his age. An XS is a little long and a little tight in the waist but OK. I'm happy to have them...few things out there in kids rainpants this small.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Campmor Youth Cascade II Pants: My boys are tall and even with that, these were a bit long. Still great rain pants for the price though.

Comments about Campmor Youth Cascade II Pants: Purchased this for my son for Boy Scouts and daughter for Girl Scouts to take on backpacking and camping trips. I had a very hard time finding youth rain gear in a suitable size and weight for backpacking. After multiple stores, someone suggested I try Campmor. Like others, the pants fit weird, but I am just grateful to have them. They have already done their job after a backpacking trip in the cold (low 40s) and bad rains (1.5 inches in 1 hour, 50mph with pea size hail). I am pleased.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Campmor Youth Cascade II Pants: Great rain pant. They have been perfect for my son to hit the playground in spring mud season and fall early snows. They also worked wonderfully during the torrential downpours on the soccer field. They are not a super lightweight rain pant - so I would not recommend them on a rainy hike in 75 degree & up weather.

Comments about Campmor Youth Cascade II Pants: Great for those camping downpours. Packs into it's own pocket, so packs small for backpacks

Comments about Campmor Youth Cascade II Pants: live in wet rainy environment, always looking for good rain clothes for children for hard playing and hiking. These were a little larger than actually needed but leaves plenty of room for growth. need smaller sizes to cover toddlers. we all get cabin fever if we can't go out...
