Comments about Casio SGW300-1AV Sport Altimeter Barometer Watch: The case is doesnt feel like a GShock, it feels light and cheap, rubber bands doesnt look very durable and look like theyll dry and crack. The thermometer and altimeter are completelly useless making the barometer useless. Do not buy it if youre interested in knowing altitude and temperature.

Comments about Casio SGW300-1AV Sport Altimeter Barometer Watch: Beside the obvious timekeeping function the barometer and altimeter functions are helpful when backpacking to judge altitude and weather. The other functions including a UTC mode and alarm are also great features. But if you want accurate temperature, you have to take it off. It's easily influenced by body temp.

Comments about Casio SGW300-1AV Sport Altimeter Barometer Watch: I'm over the GPS stage for on trail hiking; short battery life and poor reception with tree cover drove me back to a trail map, compass, and altimeter. This watch reports altitude to 20 ft increments which is about as good as a barometer will do given weather based changes in pressure.
