The Medical Kits HeatSheet Emergency Survival Blanket is quieter then the older Mylar space blanket. Also the orange material on the AMK Survival blanket is a nylon which will reinforce the reflective side making the emergency blanked more durable.Answered on 11/29/2012 by Steve from Campmor
