Comments about Casio (GW500A-1V) G-Shock Tough Solar Atomic Watch: I've had this watch for a long time, over ten years, and bought an exact duplicate for my son. Its been on my wrist nearly every day. It is easy to see, easy to operate, and looks cool. I haven't had to even replace the band yet, after ten years, but probably will need to this year. It's tough, durable, been on my wrist seemingly forever. My son is only 9, and he has always wanted to wear mine. Now he has his own. I could not be more pleased with this watch. For less than a hundred bucks (a lot less) it never needs anything. Buy it, you'll be happy you did.

A Luminox was rendered useless in a couple months in steam and dive related use. This has not scratched, quit or let me down in 2 years. I keep thinking about buying another 'just in case', but I might as well ride this out and see how good it does.
