Comments about High Sierra Long Trail 90 Internal Frame Pack:

Used this pack to travel around Europe. Worked out great, good quality pack for the price. Durable, lots of separate pockets, very adjustable to accommodate large or small loads, very comfortable. The only issue I have with it is the padding on the waist strap extends very far and is almost too much to properly tighten around my waist(31"), the pads from either side touch in the middle when the strap is fastened.

Compared to the another name brand pack my boys use this is a close second. A simple carrying handle for loading and unloading will help and a detachable top for daypack use would be handy. It was well balanced and adjusted easily for a long hike and campout.

Torso length is measured from the back at the 7th cervical vertebrae down to the top of the hipbones. Further information on measuring for the torso length is at the bottom of any Campmor webpage under "pack care & fit".

                          Torso Length 17" - 21"

Have a friend measure your back. Stand with your back to them and your hands on your hips like you are scolding someone. Your thumbs will point to a stop on your lower spine. Start from this point and measure up to the C-7 vertebrae, which is the one that sticks out of the back of your neck when you touch your chin to your chest. The measurement between these 2 points is your torso length.

                          A:

The fit is based on torso length. This will fit someone with torso length 17-21 inches. Torso length is the measure from the C7 vertebra whci is the knob at the base of the neck when chin is tucked to chest down to the top of the hip bone.
