Comments about Coghlan's Bug Jar for Kids: I decided to buy these to give out as a party favor for my daughter's birthday party. The kids seemed pretty excited to get them. I like toys that get kids thinking about their outside environment and kept a couple for my kids. We haven't used them much yet so I'm not sure how easily they may scratch - but even the grandfathers took them home. The covers seem like they are easy to twist off and the containers are nice and big so lots of critters can fit in them. They have relatively thick plastic so they seem like they'll hold up well.
