Comments about Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System: After a few cold weather backpacking trips (under 20*) my old stove left me out in the cold. I found myself asking other people for hot water. A few of the memebers in the group had Jetboils. They were almost done eating before my water was hot enough to make coffee. At the end of a stretch of the PCT in Jan, I purchased the Jetboil system.

Comments about Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System: Bought this to replace a white gas stove that was always difficult to light and messy. No real trials yet but appears to be a good 3 season unit. This is my first iso-butane stove, I have had 6 different liquid fuel stoves, so not sure about winter operation yet. Was very impressed with heating efficiency and compactness.

Comments about Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System: Love this product! Purchased this for a trip through 3 national parks. We needed something compact as we flew there so gave this a try. It was so quick and convenient for boiling water and heating soup that I don't think I will ever take the propane burner stove again. It is tricky to control the temp at low settings but talk about fast. It is easy to ignite and clean. Excellent purchase.

Comments about Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System: This is the way to go for heating small amounts of water FAST! Temperature control is a bit dicey as it reaches "full throttle" in the first half-turn.

Comments about Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System: Great stove for personal or couple use. We have one in each Boy Scout patrol and the Scouts hike with it and boil water quick and easy for soup, cocoa, etc. The only issue is if you use a pan all the heat is concentrated in one spot (center) which causes burning. Soupy mixtures are fine though. Highly recommended!!!!

I have a Jet Boil some five years old or so and the "spot welds" near the bottom of the cup have cracked, thus leaking water from the cup onto the stove. The unit is not operational in it's current state. Does Jet Boil warrant this type of defect?1 answer

I have an older original jetboil cooking system. I love the efficiency of it but find the cup that came with it difficult to eat out of because of the depth.
