The convenient Jetboil includes all the elements required for outdoor cooking, in a single unit. Simmer, fry or sauté for groups with this flexible 1.5 liter system. Ideal for gourmet cooking, scouts, family camping, snow melting. Excellent for group excursions where extra capacity and versatility is needed.
It features a patent-pending FluxRing heat exchanger that doubles heat transfer efficiency, enabling fast boil times and allows the GCS to boil up to 50 cups (12 liters) of water from one micro-canister of Jetpower fuel. It is twice as efficient as traditional camp cooking systems and will bring two cups of water to a boil in just about 2 minutes or a liter in about 4 minutes. The GCS shares the same burner base with Jetboil's PCS (Personal Cooking System) and the systems are cross compatible.

Comments about Jetboil Group Cooking System: We've used Jetboil stoves in our Boy Scout troop on backpacking trips. I've found them much safer than the liquid fueled stoves, we've never had issues with altitude. Difficult to get good flame stability when trying to keep a lower (simmer) temperature, but other than that no issues. The ignition system sometimes doesn't work when the unit is hot and you're trying to relight it. Very durable and it works well on the non-Jetboil fuel also, even at altitude.

Comments about Jetboil Group Cooking System: Used for 26 days on the John Muir Trail for 3 people. Sparker burned out after a few days, had to use a lighter. Don't expect it do anything but full open blasting, but it's a good unit.

Comments about Jetboil Group Cooking System: Purchased this after going bargain shopping for my first stove. It performs fantastic and I can cook for myself and my two children in one shot. Boils water for replenishing the bottles in a flash, cleans easily and is worth the space in my pack. I feel it was worth the extra money and am extremely happy with its first season performance.

Comments about Jetboil Group Cooking System: Works well single and small group. Pain lugging extra gas canisters for a week, but better than spilling liquid white gas. Stable when you find the right rocks. Can use the other brand canisters which have a larger capacity and help the stability. However, they don't seem heat as well. Have used it in the Rockies as well as the Eastern US without problems.
