Comments about Voguestrap Timex Ironman Band for Watches: After having parts of two different Timex watch straps break, I was searching for replacements. This strap is a perfect fit for my ladies (14mm) Ironman watch. No cutting, no cursing required.

Best Uses Comments about Voguestrap Timex Ironman Band for Watches: Caution: Owners of Timex Ironman Watches... you can get this strap to fit your watch, but it will require an hour and a half of precious life energy you'll never get back fussing with an X-acto knife while using the old strap as a template. If you are the inventive sort, with time on your hands, and love your old watch...then go for it. I was able to make it work. Just don't say you weren't warned.

(The rubberized band seems to be more difficult to find than the velcro-and-cloth band, and an ordinary replacement band will not work due to the design of the watch.) A great product - reasonable in cost, and no issues to report!

Eventually I realized that the new pin was not aligned the same as the one in the old watch band, and would never reach the holes for the pin. At least the half that fit was the one that broke, so now I have a 2-tone watch band.

Best Uses Comments about Voguestrap Timex Ironman Band for Watches: I have two Timex Ironman watches that need new straps. One has a plastic strap with buckle; the strap just split. The other has a nylon band with velcro closure; the velcro no longer sticks. This "Ironman" replacement strap does not fit either of my Ironman watches. The ends of the strap that are supposed to fit into the spaces on the watches' cases are too big. And, even if forced into the watches' cases, the spring pins do not align with the holes in the watches. At [$], the strap is not worth mailing back to Campmor; I'll bring it in for a refund the next time I'm over in that part of NJ.
