Will this charger work with an iPad 2? If so, how long will it take to charge it?
What other solar chargers do you have that will work to charge an iPad?
Asked on 6/19/2013 by Robbie
A Ipad will require 2 amps to recharge. You may be able to use this as a trickle charger but it will not recharge the battery because the output is only 1 amp.

can i charge a dvd player that uses regular residential electric?

If your DVD player is a rechargeable player then your instruction booklet will tell you the voltage and amperage requirements for recharging. If the Brunton Explorer2 Solar Charger meets those specs then it will work.
