Just throw the sleeping bags in back and go anywhere my AWD car can.

If you were to pitch the tarp high enough to allow the lowest part of the tarp to clear the net top yes. This would require some creative pitching though. To protect from mosquitos you may want to look at the Epco Tropicscreen II
