Comments about Julbo Micropore Glacier Glasses: I give off A LOT of heat and sweat profusely, yet the Julbo Micropore glacier glasses stayed fog free 85% of the time and resisted my sweat mixed with Aloegator sunscreen on a 15 mile 7 hour hike.

Comments about Julbo Micropore Glacier Glasses: I'm a truck driver and spend several hours during the winter months directly facing the sun and it's reflection from other vehicles. These glasses are the best I've found to help me see what's in front of me in direct sunlight. Very important when driving 80,000 lbs down a busy highway. The glasses are great but the case that they came in seems very cheap and it clamps down tight on the glasses themselves with a latch that is difficult to open. I swapped the case out with something more appropriate for really protecting these beauties.

Comments about Julbo Micropore Glacier Glasses: I give these Julbo Glasses to Line men/women, who go that extra mile when I fly into an airport and need my aiplane serviced. I have been very happy with the 1st pair I bought over 3 years ago.

Best Uses Comments about Julbo Micropore Glacier Glasses: The only real complaint we have is regarding the nose piece. Very curious that it is not actually molded to the glasses, rather it is detachable and if that breaks....what then? These glasses replaced a pair we had from another outdoor retailer that they no longer make. Very hard to find glass lenses with soft leather sides and moldable arms. Love that we can just wipe paint overspray off the lens without scratching or don't worry about sparks melting the lens.

Comments about Julbo Micropore Glacier Glasses: I have owned two pair of Cebe's and I couldn't find another pair in the USA. So I bought the Julbo Micropore. The one thing I noticed with the Julbo right off was the glass tint in very bright snow conditions was slightly tinted yellow. I like that. The world around me was sharp and in focus, no distortion and they felt real good. I don't like the nose bridge. That will not be very durable. Julbo should just use nose pieces and leave the rest off.

Comments about Julbo Micropore Glacier Glasses: I added leather around the bottom of the lens ( looks professional ) as the lens needs to pull in closer to the cheek. There is a finger ( small ) width space, between the bottom of the lens and your cheek, so in reflective situations such as snow/ice, light is visible reflecting up from the ground. Also, the area above the bridge of the nose will let light in annoyingly so, so you always need to wear a cap or hat with brim ( same with the Sherpa model also ).

Comments about Julbo Micropore Glacier Glasses: The Julbo Micropore, I have found to be the best sunglasses in the cockpit of my plane. I have been asked where I got them and even had a few people ask to buy them from me. I should get a few more pair and sell them to all the linemen I meet on the ramp. Displaying reviews 1-7 |
