Comments about Coleman Propane Electric Ignition 2-Burner Stove: I LOVE this new stove. Not having to mess with matches or lighters or wind. It is great. I did have a small issue with one of the lighting mechanisms. Tried it at home, worked great. On the five day trip, it worked off and on (and it wasn't moved during that time). Every time I thought I would send it back, it worked like a charm. Even with the glitch, I loved it.

Comments about Coleman Propane Electric Ignition 2-Burner Stove: Not sturdy construction. Plastic parts were cracked and grill wasn't welded in one spot. My old Coleman stoves were indestructible but this new one was too fragile for my taste. I has to return it.

Comments about Coleman Propane Electric Ignition 2-Burner Stove: I purchased a couple of Coleman two burner, electric ignition stoves for our boy scout troop to replace some older Coleman stoves that were worn out. These are similar in size and weight to the older stoves but have larger knobs. The burners on the new stoves seemed to put out more heat than the older stoves, but the flame control was not as good. It seemed that the burner was either barely on or full on. Not much in between. Other than that, the same Coleman quality and durability. We would purchase this stove again.

Comments about Coleman Propane Electric Ignition 2-Burner Stove: The new matchless stove is a significant improvement over our old Coleman stove. The improvements: The burners are separated from each other, the knobs are larger in size, more control over individual burners and the design of the side wind-blocker makes the unit much safer. We also purchased the carrying case with the side pockets for 2 small propane tanks. The case makes the unit much easier to carry and pack in the car.

With a bulk hoes or lantern tower you could use a large propane tank like the ones you use for a barbeque.
