Comments about Coleman Lassen 20 Degree Sleeping Bag:

Worked well for a July trip in the Rockies. We had lows of 40 and it kept everyone perfectly warm. Comfy, large (zipped together, it is wider than a queen), large stuffed, too. We purchased Coleman 10"x20" stuff sacks, which worked great.

Comments about Coleman Lassen 20 Degree Sleeping Bag:

It kept me comfortable in 35-45 degree weather. There was some moisture in my tent from heavy rain, but the bag stayed dry.

The plastic hook on the pack line (string to keep it packed) seems like it might not stand the test of time, but so far it's holding up.

Good basic bag. Use for car camping and warmer weather(3 season). Like that it fully unzips so that my wife and I can use one on the air mattress and one as a cover. Hard to get it to pack small, but not a big deal if you are not backpacking and why would you buy this for that?

Comments about Coleman Lassen 20 Degree Sleeping Bag:

Bags will be used for the kids in a pop-up camper. Like the fact that they will zip together if needed. Bags are bulky, but purchased stuff/compression sacks for them so not an issue. Soft inner lining is wonderful. Kids really liked that. They have used other bags with a nylon or synthetic lining and did not like. Will store nicely in the camper.

Comments about Coleman Lassen 20 Degree Sleeping Bag:

I just bought two of these sleeping bags for family members. They are warm, cozy, and comfy. They are just right for early spring yurt camping on the west coast. The only downside is how difficult they are to keep rolled up because the closure straps are just a bit too short. I bought two of the stuff bags that were recommended (10 x 20), but those are definitely too small.

Comments about Coleman Lassen 20 Degree Sleeping Bag:

We took our two kids (6yr & 1 yr) camping in SE Texas in March and the forecast was for lows in the 30s at night. I zipped 2 bags together, and myself and both kids had plenty of room in the bags. Kept us snug and warm all night. The only extra thing we needed were hats, but that's the trade off of rectangular bags that zip together as opposed to a single mummy style bag with hood. Great purchase, I know we'll be warm in the cold weather.
The only con is the bag does not come with a stuff sack, and so does not roll up as small as other bags. It does have a line and hook attached to secure it when rolled up. However this is not an issue unless you are doing serious back country hiking where you are lugging your gear around.

Great for car camping or the cabin. Warm when the fire goes out. Too bulky for backpacking, no stuff sack. The tie wrap/ cord seems like it will fail. Inner flannel lining seems to be made from recycled materials.

There is not guaranty that the Diamond back bag you got back in 2006 will zip to this. You can call the Campmor sleeping bag department and with the type and number zipper and the width of the Diamond back, they could help determine if the Lassen will mate with the Diamond back.

It means in general for most people that they'll be comfortable in temps down to 20 degrees and up to 40 degrees. This is assuming that you'll be on a suitable ground pad in some sort of shelter.

This is a synthetic insulation. If it gets wet it will only loose 30% insulation qualities.
