The Khatoola Microspikes are an essential piece of gear for the wintertime. It is ideal for conditions when it would be foolish to travel without traction aids, but not severe enough to require a full crampon. Thanks to the compact size and light weight you can keep 'em in your pack even for unexpected ice patches. With the full stainless construction underfoot this is built to last. The silicone upper remains flexible to -76 Fahrenheit and is also built to last. Attaches securely to the shoe without annoying straps and is far easier to walk in than full crampons. Key features: No Strap attachment. Simply pull them onto your shoe and go. 3/8" stainless spikes are long enough to grip, but not cumbersome when walking Flex chain construction prevents snow build-up, and will not abrade through.
