Not sure how useful this will be because I bought this bag for sleeping indoors whilst visiting my son, but will be useful for future outdoor use. The bag is really comfortable and plenty warm enough, in fact sort of too warm for indoors. I really like it.

Bought this for my son for summer camping. I have a Slumberjack rated at 40 degrees that packs down to 1/2 the size of this one and it cost 10$ less. Very sorry I got this for him.

                                What is the "roll control"?

How is it rated 40-60--is one layer thicker so you put the thicker layer under when it's warmer and on top when it's colder?

Roll control is a strap that is sewn into the bag that when you roll it you will be able to use this strap to secure the rolled bag to the desired tightness.

                                  A:

The way the Trinidad is rated at 40 and 60 degrees is that one side is thicker than the other. So if you use the sleeping bag with the thicker side up then that is the 40 degree. The other wat with the thicker side down and the thinner side up is the 60 degree.

The Coleman Trinidad 40-60 Degree Sleeping Bag is not a slick polyester material more a textured material like a sheet.

Coleman does not issue EN ratings on their bags. If I were to guess I would say 45 F for the one side and 65 for the other.
