This is a very nice Swiss Army knife for backpackers looking for a multitool that's as lightweight as possible, but still functional. The Wenger Swiss Army knives knives are slightly more compact and lighter than the Victorinox knives, with the same Swiss-made quality.

This knife has a nice non-slip surface and an ergonomic shape, and all the tools you'll ever need. The main blade is sharp and easy to open. The scisors are perfect for cutting through moleskin or bandages. The saw, although very short, is much more useful than I expected for cutting firewood (I can chop deadfall up to to two inches in diameter, which is plenty for a small backcountry fire). And the two screwdrivers are all I need to keep my Whisperlite stove and trekking poles in working order.

I think it would be tough to find all those tools in as light and practical a package. If you are a backpacker and care about weight, this knife deserves a look.

Best pocket knife ever! Has every feature I wanted, and none that I didn't want. Great for camping/backpacking. However, the main knife is a little shorter than my prior Swiss Army knives, none of which were this brand. Also, it's a little heavier than my other knives, but that may just be b/c it has all the features I wanted.

I have had many Wenger Swiss Army Knives over the years, and have experienced two emotions with them: Joy and adoration due to having one, and sorrow due to losing it! This is the perfect configuration, in my opinion. I love the new EvoGrip handles. If you are only going to buy one pocket knife, this is the one!
