- Rotating bezel and built-in bearing sensor that detects magnetic north and one of 16 directions on the digital display. Takes directional readings automatically based on continuous reading setting (0 to 1 hour in 10 second intervals, where 0 yields one reading only).

- Moon age for the current date or moon age, moon phase and tidal movements for a specified date based on current city code and current time/date (range Jan. 1, 2000 through Dec. 31, 2039).
- Moon phase indicator displays moon age (0 to 29.53 days + or - 1 day) for specific months.
- Tide graph indicates tidal movement based on the moon's transit over the meridian and the lunar tidal interval.
- Full Auto EL Backlight:
- Moving the watch to a position that is parallel to the ground and then tilting it towards you greater than 40 degrees causes the backlight to turn on (can be turned off for manual operation).
