You may be able to tuck under than mattress, however the net may come untucked through the night. A better net is one that suspends above the cot at 4 points like:

The InsectShield is a permethrin based chemical and it just hasn't been approved for use yet by the Canadian government. Not to say that they don't think it is safe, just bureaucratic red tape has delayed the registration of this trademark product.
