Comments about SeaToSummit Delta Mug: Got this cup a couple of years ago for backpacking and camping. The 2 cup capacity is useful for measuring water for freeze dried foods such as Mountain House. The material makes the cup better than metal - but not quite as good as an insulated cup for keeping your drinks warm. Packs and cleans well. Use mine to store my candle lantern during hiking.
Comments about SeaToSummit Delta Mug: I liked this mug so much, I though I would use it for tea at work. So I fill it with water, put it in the microwave and turn it on for 2 minutes 45 seconds. When the bell went off, the water was boiling and the area where the main body of the cup meets the rim was destroyed. Melted all the way through in several places. It looks like someone did a very sloppy welding job to attach the rim to the cup. I mean destroyed, really. Did the steam do it, or the microwave? Displaying reviews 1-2 |
