Since the bottom seal leaks slightly...sweats (I'll be resealing it before next trip), solar heating could be a messy affair if warming the shower on the ground. Per a previous user, I didn't use the provided suspension line. I used a stronger cord. Nonetheless, a nice shower experience in the wilds.

if you are going to be backpacking anywhere near water i think you would be crazy to leave home without it. the pocket shower is an amazing product. i use it to keep my sleeping bag in when i pack things up. if is waterproof on the inside it is waterproof from the outside. and yes it is big enough to keep your bag in. once you set up camp you have running water. you turn the nozzle and you can wash dishes, your hands, face, ect. it also comes in a small pouch of its own so it folds up to the size of a really fat wallet. this is a great gift idea for anyone who knows a backpacker. you might have to get a little better string to hang it or change that a tad but once it is set up everyone will be asking to use it. buy it!

I wanted an inexpensive camp shower that didn't set me back in weight or pack room either. This one is ideal for long distance hiking. I plan to use it a lot this summer. Even if it doesn't hold up that long, it will still be a rather effective dry bag for my spare gear.

Tried it out two weeks ago. It works fine. I used to have one of those bulky roll up showers. This fits in a tiny pouch and doesn't get in the way of everything else. Now, if we could only buy a bathtub to go with it that fits in the same sized pouch my significant other would be thrilled!

This is one of the nicer backpacking showers out there. I use it as a dry sack as well for my water shoes.
I does clog quickly if you are not using clean or screened water.
I recommend using a different, better cord than the one provided. It has broke on me.

This is a GREAT portable shower - comes in a little pouch - Ive used it 6 times - Hung it from a tree. Careful that the clasp is undisturbed when hanging, otherwise ...well...
one bad thing to say: I dropped it from six feet in height, it was only half filled, and it hit the grass and burst its seem. I'd have to say it fell due to MY negligence....but it WILL burst open.
To say how much I enjoyed it, I'm getting another one today!!

Much better then those "maypop" plastic ones. Small, yet holds enough for a decent shower. If you wilderness camp for any length of time, you need this shower!

This is a must to take with you backpacking, can be used with hot water off the fire(just under scolding), or the sun. Reps said you can even treat water in this thing. I mostly use this for backpacking because of its weight and the many things it can do, even a dry sack! Lost my first one and had to buy another for the very next trip. Only issue have to use clean water or the shower head clogs and you have to blow it out.
