Comments about Optimus .4L Small Fuel Bottle: I carried this fuel bottle last week on the Appalachian Trail in Vermont. It was just what I needed to carry my extra portion of alcohol fuel needed for my cooking requirements. If going on longer trips with less re-supply points, I will probably purchase a larger volume bottle.

Comments about Optimus .4L Small Fuel Bottle: In my opinion, a little small in most cases for fuel, except maybe for primer. I bought them for the large first aid kit because they're epoxy coated inside and will hold alcohol, peroxide, etc. Caps drive me nuts, but they actually work. I'm trying the MSR cap from [@] since they are offering free shipping as of Dec 2011.

Comments about Optimus .4L Small Fuel Bottle: High quality and coated internally making it nonreactive with alcohol fuels. About the size of a soda can. I wasn't sure about the green color but it grows on you. Since I carry more than one fuel, having different colored bottles makes it easier to identify. Beats carrying a gallon can along. Am considering buying the 1L size for longer trips.

Slightly larger than a can of soda, its appropriate for what I use it for, short car camping excursions when you don't want to lug a whole gallon along. Would also be useful for backpacking. Didn't know if I'd like the green color, but it grows on you. Since I carry more than one fuel, having different colored bottles helps keeping them straight. High quality and would buy a larger one for longer trips.
