Great cook set for solo use. I swapped my Jetboil pot for this set and the lightweight and versatility are great.

I thought that the cook set included the gas cannister because of the post grammar and the photos on the website. I was treated poorly when I went to return it by customer service, and ended up losing shipping costs because of poor advertising.

This cookset it the perfect size for one person. The 2-in-1 design is awesome, providing a cup and bowl in one set. The pot is large enough for a sizeable meal, and large enough to store the essential cooking utensils.

Comments about Optimus Terra .6 L Solo Cookset:

This cook set is adequate for one person but no more than that. It can be used to heat water to boiling but little else. That task is pretty much all I needed, but being limited to that may leave others unsatisfied.

In exchange for this limitation, the set is inexpensive, light, compact, sturdy, and already darkened -- ie, you won't worry too much about soot.

Aluminum is not as good a heat conductor as copper, so you may need to be certain to adequately stir anything you are actually cooking in it. If you are simply heating water, this won't be an issue.

The plastic on the handles seems to protect then fingers from a heated cup, but this was not rigorously tested.

The two cups seem to do fine for what they were intended to be used for, but probably not for anything else.

This is a great setup for 1-2 hikers. The pan will hold 2 cups and the lid will hold 8 ounces, enough water for your meal and a beverage. The handles do not get hot over my pocket rocket and they fold down neatly and securely. This pan set is lightweight and compact. I have room inside to fit a small fuel canister, towel, lighter, soap and sponge. It is exactly what I was looking for and I would highly recommend it.

It would be big enough for a one person portion but not a two person.

Is the so-called "frypan" suitable as a beverage cup? Comparing this with REI's T-Ware set, pot with actual cup.
